No news is good news, but Good News is better news

"Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever." - Psalm 118

It's late, and I'm tired, so you get the short version for now: we're back in the application process! There's still a lot to be done, so keep those prayers coming. He hears, and sometimes, as now, He answers in a most clear and resounding way. I have no doubt that His will is being done and it will continue to be so.

Someone asked me today what took so long (since we're basically at the same point in the process where we were two weeks ago), and I said God didn't want to make it too easy. This way, when we end up shipping out, no one can boast in their ability to make things happen in a short amount of time. Under the current schedule, there's no way we're getting over there this summer short of God's providence. And yet, I have complete faith in His ability to place us wherever He wants, anywhere in the world. We will be ready.

2 Timothy 4:1-5
