We had our interviews today. They went well, and we bought tickets. No, not those tickets. These tickets, purchased on faith (much better than buying on credit), will take us out to training next week. We'll be there for ten days. During that time we hope to take in some sights as well as get beefed up for our impending journey.
We are committed to moving out of our house on Saturday. We spent all night packing, but we've still got a ways to go. I hope to see you all there; remember, this is two moves for the price of one! Our sister just closed on a house, so we're moving all of her stuff (which is at our house) to her new house, and we're moving all of our stuff (which is at our house) to her new house. It's gonna be great fun!
Our three main concerns now in order of precedence are
- Our house
- Our dog
- My job
For the house, well, we're taking the first step by getting out of it. Hopefully we can get it spiffed up and find renters or buyers. For the dog, we've got some leads, and we just had an idea this evening, so hopefully that will all work out. For the job, just keep praying that the Lord will reveal His timing to us, and that'll take care of that. Of course, please keep us in your prayers for all of this.
I've been rattlin' o'er the blogs, and I came across
this buried deep within ancient archives. I couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't. It's off to bed for me where my mind may in visions wander as His will desires.
Psalm 95:7-8
